Hello, I’m Laura.

Thanks for stopping by!

I’m an Architect and illustrator based in Brisbane, Australia.

I started a sketching Instagram page while in architecture school, to learn to draw better and to hold myself accountable to practising often.

Now, I’m lucky enough to draw commissioned artworks of houses and building from all around Australia and beyond!

I love creating keepsakes and honouring the important places in your life.

I can re-imagine old grainy photos it into a drawing that can be hung proudly on the wall and remembered. Give me a dodgy google street view image and I can work wonders, too! I also love including pets - I’ve drawn plenty of cats and dogs, and even the odd chicken!

It’s important to have a light footprint on the earth, and we should all focus on having less ‘stuff’ and more items of meaning, which is one of the driving principles behind 2LH.

I’ve also worked on a number of other projects, including a merchandise line of tote bags and greeting cards for the ‘Home: a suburban obsession’ exhibition at the State Library of Queensland, and a tea-towel collaboration with a Brisbane real estate agent.

If you have an idea about a creative project, I would love to hear about it!

If you would like a commission, fill out the order form and I will have pen to paper before you know it!
